I recommend you flat iron the hair straight, then cut! However, always give yourself 2 inches longer to the desired length because your hair will shrink back once it’s curly. Or if you decide to cut curly, just wash and let your hair dry naturally then clip the CreaClip where you want to cut and then cut. In such cases, you don’t need to slide it down, just clip it 1 inch above the end length and then cut. Then take a look and see if it’s short enough or if it needs more then repeat. We recommend you to cut a little at a time, this way you can always go back and cut more instead of cutting too much all at once.
